There are three installation methods for ball valves:

1. Vertical installation. When the valve is fully open, its flow direction is from bottom to top and from left to right; When the valve is fully closed, its flow direction is from top to bottom and from right to left. The flow direction of vertically installed ball valves in the pipeline is from bottom to top and from left to right.

2. Horizontal installation. When the valve is fully open, its flow direction is from top to bottom and from left to right; When the valve is in a semi open state, its flow direction is from bottom to top and from right to left. The flow direction of horizontally installed ball valves in the pipeline is from bottom to top and from left to right.

3. Tilt type. If the ball valve is installed obliquely in the pipeline, its flow direction is from bottom to top and from left to right.

The following matters need to be noted during the installation process of ball valves:

1. During installation, metal chips, fibers, grease (except those specified for use), dust and other impurities, foreign matter, etc. are not allowed to contaminate, adhere to, or stay on the surface of the part or enter the inner cavity. If there is microleakage at the packing, it must be Re-tighten the stem nut.

2. During assembly, the bolts on the flange must be tightened symmetrically, gradually and evenly.

3. The installation position, height, and entrance and exit directions must meet the design requirements, and the connections should be firm and tight.

4. The handles of various manual valves installed on insulated pipes must not be downwards.

5. It is best to install according to the product instruction manual.
