What is the communication method for fluid control?
2024-05-17 15:11:03

Communication methods for fluid control, mainly depends on the fluid control equipment or system used.

For equipment such as gas mass flow meters/controllers, the communication methods usually have the following options:

  • Analog communication: such as 0-5V or 4-20mA signal. This communication method is relatively simple and suitable for some basic traffic monitoring and control needs.

  • Digital communication: such as RS485 Modbus or RS232. Digital communication has higher data transmission speed and stronger anti-interference ability, and is suitable for more complex and precise traffic monitoring and control requirements.

In addition, fluid control components (such as pumps, valves, cylinders, etc.) and hydraulic system accessories (such as filters, pipe joints, liquid level gauges, pressure instruments, etc.) in fluid control may also require communication functions to achieve higher levels of fluid control and management. How these devices communicate may vary depending on the manufacturer and specific needs, but typically supports either analog or digital communications.
