The maintenance methods of manual ball valves are as follows:

1. Before disassembling the ball valve, the pressure must be relieved from the upper and lower pipes of the ball valve. At the same time, the fluid medium in the ball valve must be cut off.

2. When disassembling and reassembling, care must be taken to prevent damage to the sealing surfaces of parts, especially non-metallic parts.

3. The cleaning agent should be compatible with the rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working medium (such as gas) in the ball valve. When the working medium is gas, metal parts can be cleaned with gasoline (gb484-489). Non-metallic parts can be cleaned with pure water or alcohol, and individual parts can be cleaned by immersion cleaning.
