The differences between electric ball valves and manual ball valves are as follows:
1. Driving mode:
The motorized ball valve uses an electric motor to drive the rotation of the ball to realize switching or regulating control of the fluid;
The manual ball valve realizes switching control of the fluid medium by manually rotating the ball.
2.Control method:
Electric ball valves have the characteristics of high degree of automation, easy operation, and high precision, but the cost is relatively high; they are generally used in situations with system control requirements.
Manual ball valves have the characteristics of simple structure and low cost of use, and are suitable for some low-pressure and low-temperature occasions. There are no system control requirements.
3.Application fields:
Motorised valves are widely used in situations where system control is required. Including petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical, water treatment, air conditioning and HVAC, agricultural irrigation and other fields, it can also be used in fire protection systems, heating systems, air conditioning systems, water supply and drainage systems and other fields;
Manual ball valves are used in situations that require manual control. They are mainly used in oil wellhead pipelines, oil depot pipelines and oil pipeline connections, and city gas wiring. They also include petrochemicals, food and pharmaceuticals, water treatment, air conditioning and HVAC, and agricultural irrigation. It can also be used in fire protection systems, heating systems, air conditioning systems, water supply and drainage systems, etc.
