3 way ball valve is a three-channel rotary ball valve, which can be used to control the reversing, diversion or confluence of three pipeline media.
According to different core structures, it can be divided into T-type or L-type:
(1). There is no difference in appearance between T-type three-way ball valve and L-type, but the structure of the valve core inside the valve body is different.
(2). The T-shape can make the three orthogonal pipelines communicate with each other and cut off the third channel, so as to play the role of diversion and confluence.
3-way 4-side seat ball valve with T-shaped flow channel adopts 4-side valve seat, which is balanced in force to ensure reliable sealing on the closed channel. It is mainly used for diversion, mixed flow, commutation and complete opening of three channels.
(3). The L-type can only connect two pipelines that are orthogonal to each other, and cannot maintain the interconnection of the third pipeline at the same time, and only plays a distribution role.
3 way 4-seat ball valve with L-shaped flow channel adopts 2-seat. It is mainly used for the reversing of the flow path.
